ATEX 95: Wampfler Festoon Systems for explosive atmospheres

To guarantee a high degree of explosion protection and assure free movements of goods within the EU, products for explosion atmospheres must comply with the EG directive 94/9/EG (ATEX 95).

Wampfler AG offers from now on ATEX certified festoon systems made of steel for explosive atmospheres. The systems, certified by the TÜV Süddeutschland, are applicable for equipment category II, zone 1 and 21.

The festoon systems for C-rails, which carry flat and round cables for the energy- and data transmission, are approved for travel speeds of 60m/min and loads of 32kg per cable trolley.
