Record participation in the "9th Conductix-Wampfler Fun-Triathlon"

The Conductix-Wampfler Fun-Triathlon took place for the 9^th time, on Saturday, July 12. Six single athletes and believe it or not, 11 teams who competed in a neck-and-neck race – that´s a new record!

Not only the number of participants, but also the sportive performances were record-breaking.

At 8.30 am, still chilly temperatures, the tournament started with a jump into the swimming pool. After a swim distance of 400 meter, the athletes had to cycle up- and down hill a distance of 40 kilometres by bike. Finally the participators had to activate their strengths for the 4 kilometer long running course alongside the river Rhine.

After the sporty efforts the schedule changed to the cosy part. The participators were dignified, the winners were honored and there was the chance to fill up the empty carb-stocks by eating steaks and drinking light beer.
